چکیده

If the permutation action ρI is transitive, all factors Xi are quasiisometric to each other, and the restricted quasi-actions Gi y Xi are quasi-conjugate (when identifying different stabilizers Gi by inner automorphisms of G). The main result of this note is that in this case any of the quasi-actions Gi y Xi determines ρ up to quasi-conjugacy, and moreover any quasi-conjugacy class may arise as a restricted action.

On quasi-Frobenius bimodules and corings

Frobenius bimodules are connected with Frobenius algebras and extensions. For instance, a ring extension φ : R → S is a Frobenius extension if and only if RSS is a Frobenius bimodule [1]. Brzeziński and Gómez-Torrecillas studied in [4] certain properties of comatrix corings in relation to properties of bimodules. In particular they showed that the comatrix coring [6] induced by any Frobenius bi...

Quasi-random hypergraphs revisited

The quasi-random theory for graphs mainly focuses on a large equivalent class of graph properties each of which can be used as a certificate for randomness. For k-graphs (i.e., k-uniform hypergraphs), an analogous quasi-random class contains various equivalent graph properties including the k-discrepancy property (bounding the number of edges in the generalized induced subgraph determined by an...

A Remark on Quasi-isometries

We show that if f : Bn -IRn is an e-quasi-isometry, with e < 1, defined on the unit ball Bn of Rn, then there is an affine isometry h : Bn -Rn with lIf(x) -h(x)|I < Ce(l+logn) where C is a universal constant. This result is sharp.
